The Inspiration

Originally envisioned to be one of this generation's real-life inspired animated character, (Abigail Tana Rylee, featured left), Reely Rylee's purpose is to take little children and young people on a journey of dreaming and developing a vivid picture of their future, hence the film reel and spelling of Reely Rylee. With the recent issues surrounding racism and injustice, the original title which was geared toward younger children fueled the idea of The Reely Rylee Series - It Starts With Me! as a model for children to follow in doing their part to change the world, regardless how young they may be at the moment, and throughout the rest of their lives.

Keeping Current with Existing Concerns

In light of the pandemic and police brutality across our country and the world, Reely Rylee has designed a plan to address the issues of division, hatred, lack of success and self-centeredness through literature and a process of character building. Developed with the perspective that “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.”-Frederick Douglass, The Reely Rylee Series - It Starts With Me! inspires children of all ages to focus on building one’s character and when faced with challenges, look within for the strength and beauty they possess to help build up others, and make the world a better place.
Experience
Bullying One out of every five (20.2%) students report being bullied. Does that mean the other four out of five (79.8%) students aren’t being bullied? Many children don’t speak up because of fear and also because they don’t quite know the signs of bullying or being taken advantage of in some way.
High Quality
Lack of Information Students often experience challenges as a result of choices they make. Maya Angelou once said, “When you know better, you do better.” Sometimes, our students just don’t know better. It's up to us to teach them from young.
Creativity
Lack of Self-Awareness There are many children who don’t know their true worth, natural talents and potential in life.
Consulting
Conflicts & Problem Solving Many students tend to struggle with their approach to confronting problems involving others.

Our Response

Both the literature and the workbooks help to combat the issues of insecurities, disorganization, maintaining healthy eating habits, mental & emotional matters, hatred & discrimination and mediocrity.
